Obituary of Jane Thies

Jane A. (Raveling) Thies, 60 Minneapolis Formerly of Sauk Rapids July 15, 1955 - July 27, 2015 Jane A. Thies passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 after a prolonged illness. Jane was born on July 15, 1955 in Little Falls Harry and Ruth (LeBlanc) Raveling. The family moved to Sauk Rapids when she was a small child. She attended Sacred Heart Elementary in Sauk Rapids, Cathedral High School in St. Cloud, was a graduate of St. Benedict's College and attended the graduate program at University of Wisconsin - Stout working towards her Master's degree. She spent most of her career in Property Management, managing multiple large residential properties in the Minneapolis metropolitan area. Jane was preceded in death by her mother Ruth, her sister Mary West, and her sister-in-law Michelle Raveling. She is survived by her father Harry, brothers Robert and Richard (Deborah) of Rice, MN, nieces and nephews, Carla West, Leaha West, DeDe (Greg) Doroshenko, Angela (Jonathan) White, Kristin Raveling, Daniel Raveling, Scott Raveling and 6 great nieces and nephews. To honor Jane's wishes, there will not be a public memorial service.
