Obituary of Constance Rosella Andersen

Constance "Connie" Rosella Andersen, a lifelong Duluthian, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, July 27, 2015. She was born April 20, 1925 in Duluth to Louis and Blanche Rasmussen. Connie graduated from Central High School in 1944. Connie wrote letters to a friend's brother, Leonard Andersen, during World War II. It was love at first sight when he returned home and they were married in November, 1945. She had a full life and wore many hats besides being a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; her brother, Bob and sister, Claire Lee; daughter-in-law , Randi. She is survived by her three children, Doug of Ladsen, S.C., Barb (Bob) Fraser of Duluth and Nancy (Dave) Autio of Coon Rapids; grandchildren, Darcy (Brad), Robyn (Jason), Chad (Becca), Matt and Amanda (Paul); great-grandchildren, Sully, Kendal, Finnegan and Lilli. Many thanks to the staff at Viewcrest Health Center, where mom lived for the last 10 years. Also thanks to the staff at St. Luke's Hospice Care and a special thank you to mom's caring Doctor, Addie Licari.
