Obituary of Vernon A. Michaelson

Michaelson, Vernon A. Died on April 24, 2018 at the age of 98. Born September 5, 1919 in Hudson, Wisconsin He graduated from Hudson High School in 1937. Then continued his education by attending Rasmussen Business School. In 1939 he started working for The Twin City Bus Company. He worked there for 43 years and retired in 1982. On December 27, 1947 he married Viola Niedfeldt. Vernon was a hard worker with integrity. He was a quiet man with strong faith values. Vernon was an usher at church and counted money between services. He also delivered Meals on Wheels. He created lovely gardens. Vernon and his wife square danced for 30 years and loved it. He is survived by his wife, Viola; Daughters, Susan Muehlenhardt and Debra Lund; Grandchildren, Michael Fix, Sarah Kelly, Adam Lund and Timothy Lund; Great grandchildren, Jaden Kelly, Leah Kelly and Autumn Lund. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12th at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2730 E. 31st St. Mpls, MN. Visitation will be at 10 with service at 11. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
