Obituary of Robert Russell Stata

Robert “Mike” Russell Stata, age 92, of Venice, FL, formerly of Rockford, IL, passed away September 3, 2018. WWII Veteran, serving on the USS Harding through Normandy, Okinawa and Southern France. Employed by Commonwealth Edison for 49 years. Preceded in death by wife of 69 years, Dorothy and son-in-law, Dana Rhoads. Survived by children: Tom, Linda Rhoads, Dan (Wendy) and Kathy (Bart) Peck; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and sister, Shirley Lange. Graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, IL.
