Obituary of Richard John Blom

Age 95 of the St. Paul area passed away August 6, 2015. Born in St. Paul. Graduate of St. Paul Central H.S. and the University of MN. He was an Eagle Scout. Served in USN during WWII in the South Pacific. Retired from St. Paul Companies. He and Jeanne were members of the St. Croix Rock Hounds. Preceded in death by wife, Jeanne; daughter, Suzanne; brother, Henry. Survived by children, Barbara (Loren) Pike and John R. (Carolyn); grandchildren, Jay (Janien), Brett, Kyle (Katie), Katie (Sonny), Samantha (Patrick) and Trevor; great grandchildren, Noah and Violet; sister, Esther Lightfoot; other relatives and friends. Memorial Service Saturday, August 15th at Christ United Methodist Church, 2500 Hudson Place, Maplewood. Visitation one hour before service. Service at 3 PM. Private interment Ft. Snelling. Memorials preferred to Christ U.M.C.
