Obituary of Heidi Marie Boysen

Age 53, of Prescott and Red Wing, passed away surrounded by family on August 6, 2015. Heidi was a very loving person. She was an extraordinary chef who enjoyed making food and desserts for family and friends. She loved to travel, especially to Mexico with Les. She was a multi-talented artist and photographer who loved capturing the joy in life. Heidi was the true definition of “grandma”, teaching and spoiling her grandkids every chance she had. Heidi was a hard worker and perfectionist, spending 10 years with Capital Lien of St. Paul. She will be greatly missed by all who have met her. She is survived by life partner and best friend, Les Flanders; daughter, Cassandra Black (Chris Smith); son, Thomas Titus (Aspen Degenhardt); grandchildren, Andru Black, Xili Flanders, Leytton Flanders, Maysen Smith, and Hydee Smith; father, Gary (Deb) Boysen; mother, Kathleen (Jon) Giere; brothers, Tom (Deanna) Boysen and Pete (Kris) Boysen; other relatives and friends. A celebration of Heidi’s life to be held on Sunday 8/16 from 12pm to 4pm with a service at 1pm at the Friends of Freedom Park, 200 Monroe St., Prescott, WI 54021. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to the park in Heidi’s name.
