Obituary of Barbara J. Dahl

Barbara Jean Dahl, 73, of Cloquet, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, in Interfaith Care Center in Carlton. Barb was born in Cloquet Nov. 26, 1941, to Wallace and Alexandria Johnson. She was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan, and her favorite pastime was reading. She was preceded in death by her son, Brent Johnson; her father, Wallace; her mother, Alexandria; sisters Betty Rico, Kathy Johnson and Carol Cope; brothers Jack, Jim, Randy, Bernie and Ronald; grandson Jerod Johnson; and great-grandson Michael Zeigler Jr. Barb is survived by her daughter, Susan (Nathan) Arias of Oklahoma; sisters Mary Ann Clark of Indiana and Cheryl (Stanley) Lamb of Culver; brothers Craig, Harold (Gwen) and Wally Johnson, all of Cloquet; grandchildren Andrea, Melissa and Maranda; great-grandsons Isaiah, Jaydon and Grayson; and her beloved companion of 23 years, Bill Williams. No service will be held per Barb's request. The family asks that everyone remember Barb as you knew her in life. Services are entrusted to the Cremation Society of Minnesota. Inurnment will take place at Queen of Peace Calvary Cemetery in Cloquet.
