Obituary of Karen Thompson

Age 67, of Brooklyn Park, entered into eternal rest on August 9, 2015. She was born in Seattle, WA and lived with her family in New York and Minnesota. Karen worked for Hennepin County in probate court system for over 30 years. After retirement, she worked for New Departures Travel Agency. She was a world traveler, enjoyed Scrabble, and her daily crossword puzzles. Karen loved to spend time with her friends and family and would help whenever was needed. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Preceded by father, Milford; brother, Robert. Survived by mother, Adele; brother, Richard (Colleen); sister in law, Judith; niece, Nicole; nephew, Chris and many other loving family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on August 14, 2015 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1400 Lyndale Ave S., MPLS. The service will be held at 11 A.M. with a visitation one hour prior. Private Interment.
