Obituary of Corrine V. Muller
MULLER (Fauchald), Corrine V., age 75, of Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully at home while she slept on August 13, 2015.
Corrine was born on March 2, 1940 to Ernell and Evelyn Fauchald in Willmar, MN. She graduated from Willmar High School in 1958 and attended Concordia-Moorhead College and the University of Minnesota. Corrine married John Bernhard Muller on July 11, 1964 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar, MN. John and Corrine made their first home in Northeast Minneapolis and welcomed beloved daughter Heidi in October 1965. They settled in Brooklyn Center and in May 1969 were thrilled to have son Eric join the family.
Corrine and John were filled with love and faith and their lives revolved around their family; good memories were made at Big Thunder Lake and any time they were able to be with extended family and friends.
The center of Corrine's world were her grandchildren who lovingly called her Nana. Nana loved and adored her grandchildren and wished they could have known Grandpa John. In honor of their birthdays, Nana arranged adventures such as zip lining, hot air ballooning, kayaking, helicopter rides and sailing. Nana had an aquarium snorkeling adventure planned for later this August. Her grandchildren could count on her patience, unconditional love, and reminders that she, "Loves you to the moon and back" and with "A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck." Corrine was never happier than when she was spending time with her grandchildren.
Corrine was an avid sports fan and loved following the Twins, Timberwolves and Gophers. She knew her way around a golf course playing in leagues with friends, John and Heidi. Corrine was a whiz at crosswords and other puzzles and she read voraciously. She loved to travel and was touched by the opportunity to discover and connect with John's family in Germany.
Corrine's dedication as a volunteer and employee of the Lupus Foundation was tremendously meaningful to her.
Corrine had a wonderful sense of humor and a positive outlook. She had a joyful heart which made it easy to love her. She shared her kindness and love with all. Corrine will be deeply missed.
Corrine was preceded in death by husband, John Muller; granddaughter, Madeline Peterson; siblings, Marilyn Olson, Thomas Fauchald; parents, Ernell and Evelyn Fauchald; brothers in-law Roger Olson, Hermann Muller; sisters in-law Franziska Oettinger, Maria Muller, Gisela Weber.
She will be lovingly missed by her children, Heidi Muller Peterson (Randy), Eric Muller (Kelly); grandchildren, Annika & Caroline Peterson and Annalise & Joshua Muller; sisters in-law Carole Zellie (Lance Neckar), Sandy Pierce, Anni Bonnert and many dear relatives and friends.
