Obituary of Daren Eugene Beede

Daren Eugene Beede, 50, of Duluth, Minn., passed away in his home Aug. 23, 2015. He was born June 15, 1965 to Delbert and Virginia Beede. Daren was one of a kind and this world will never be the same without him in it. Daren had a larger-than-life personality and a smile that could light up the night sky. He touched the hearts and lives of so many people during his lifetime. He made many special friends during his career, from the foundry to the aircraft industry with Cirrus Aircraft and AAR, to his most recent role with the Hermantown School District. He took so much pride in his work and had such great respect for everyone he worked with. Daren had a variety of interests that kept him active, from fishing trips with the guys to Isle Royale, hunting, all things firearms-related from building guns to target practice, and vacations to all places warm and sunny. He enjoyed life to the fullest! Most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends, especially his wife Jan, to whom he was truly devoted. Daren was preceded in death by his loving parents Delbert and Virginia, infant brother Warren and brother-in-law Skip Crandall. Daren is survived by his loving wife Jan, son Jacob, stepchildren Keith and Kayla Hays, sister Dianna Crandall, brothers Bryan (Kathy), Jeff (Kim) and twin brother Daryl (Sarah). Daren is and always will be loved and deeply missed by family and friends.
