Obituary of Sonny Burcar

Sonny Burcar, 78, of Duluth, passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, in Essentia Health Care with his family at his side. Sonny was born in Duluth, Dec. 3, 1936, to the late Peter and Ethel Burcar. Sonny enjoyed playing his accordion, piano and pool. He was preceded in death by one sister, Dolly Swanson. Those who loved and shared his life are his wife of five years, Pearl; brother Dennis (Happy) Burcar of Moose Lake; two daughters, Peggy Butler of Wisconsin and Tammy Burcar of Arizona; two grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and cousins. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth.
