Obituary of Richard E. Monson

Richard E. Monson, age 79, of Bloomington, passed away September 11, 2015. Born April 26, 1936, St. Paul. Graduate of Taylors Falls High School 1954. Attended business college in Mpls. Employed as an accountant by J&O Grain Co., Archer Daniels Midland Co. and Bemis Co., retiring at age 62. Survived by wife of 50 years, Sylvia; son, Steve (Lisa); son, Jeff (Britt) and daughter, Sue (Tom) White; five grandchildren and brothers, Earl and John (Lynn) Wik. Funeral Service 11 AM Wed., Sept. 16 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 1701 W. Old Shakopee Rd., Bloomington. Visitation 5-7 PM Tues., Sept. 15, 2015 at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina & 1 hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to St. Luke's Church Foundation, Bloomington.
