Obituary of Willard C. Hanson

Willard C. Hanson Age 90, of Elk River, passed away Sept. 11, 2015. Preceded in death by brother, Dennis. Survived by wife, Roberta; children, Anne (Dan) Holland, Willard Jr. (Jeannine), Ned (Barb) and Tom (Mary); 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Norris and many other loving relatives and friends. Willard served in the Armed Forces in WW2, graduated from the University of MN and worked as a salesman. He loved to sing in the church choir and spend time with his wife, kids and grandkids at Lake Ann in Elk River. Memorial service 1:00 PM Sat., Sept. 26 at Elk River UMC, 1304 Main St., Elk River. Visitation 12:00 PM. Private interment MN State Veteran’s Cemetery, Little Falls. Cremation Society of MN (952-924-4100).
