Obituary of Fred King

Fred died at his home in Lake Elmo, MN on Saturday morning, Sept. 12, at the age of 74. Retired State Registrar of Vital Statistics for the State of Minnesota. Past President of the National Assoc. for Public Health Statistics and Information and worked on the federal level and with foreign countries to promote the legal protection of birth and death records. Born at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Survived by twin brother Charlie and sister-in-law Carol of Stillwater; nieces, Karen (James) Shenoy of Maple Grove, Jennifer (Eric) Bauer of Alexandria, VA; grt. niece, Maya. Preceded in death by parents, Frederick I. and Nettie. Memorial may be directed to the U of M Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of MN or to the Union Gospel Mission. Private family services at a later date.
