Obituary of Joyce J. Drennen

Joyce J. Drennen, 78, of Proctor passed away Sunday Sept 13, 2015 surrounded by her family. Joyce was born April 9, 1937 in Duluth to the late Axel and Dagny Eklund. She married Richard "Bud" Drennen Dec. 1, 1957, they enjoyed 57 years together, he preceded her in death May 6, 2014. Joyce worked as a cook for the Proctor school district for many years. Joyce enjoyed camping, fishing, Nascar but most of all she enjoyed her family and her grandchildren. Those who loved and shared her life are her two children: Kelly (Brian) Iverson, Scott (Shelly) Drennen; four grandchildren Brandon and Chelsea Iverson and Nick and Cassie Drennen. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Sept 16, 2015 in the Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth 218-624-5200. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
