Obituary of Sharon J. Baker

Sharon J. Baker, 73, of Duluth, passed away on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at her home. Sharon was born in Duluth on Dec. 26, 1941 to Alfred and Gladys Skansgaard. She worked for several area businesses and retired from Tyson Foods. She married Ed Baker on Oct. 17, 1964 in Duluth. Sharon will be fondly remembered as an excellent mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Ann and Yvonne; son Keith and son-in-law Charlie Gustafson. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (William) Burger and Kellie Roberts; son Kevin Baker; brother Gerald (Marilyn) Skansgaard; sister Charmayne Randall; former husband Ed Baker; sister-in-law Margaret Hart and numerous extended family members and friends. VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 and again from 9 a.m. until the 10 funeral service on Friday, Sept. 25, in First Memorial Funeral Chapel 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth.
