Obituary of Marian Margaret Johnston

JOHNSTON (Wanke), Marian M., age 90, of St. Michael, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Victor and Margaret Wanke; 3 brothers and 1 sister; husband, Maurice Johnston, Sr.; daughter in-law, Kathy; son in-law, Tom DesChamps; Grandson, Erik Nylen. She will be deeply missed by children, Marty, Lenny (Sue), Herb (Cathy), Randy (Peggy), Lynette DesChamps; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; many relatives and good friends. Marian enjoyed camping, fishing with her family, crafts, gardening and travel in her retirement. She will be missed by all who know and love her. Special thanks to the staff at St. Croix Hospice and Legacy of St. Michael, and the friends at Legacy. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Faith in Action, or St. Croix Hospice. Her giving spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
