Obituary of Robert Peter Anderson

Robert Peter Anderson, 91, of Two Harbors, Minn., passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015. Bob was born March 20, 1924 to Alfred and Emma Anderson in Two Harbors, where he lived his entire life. He was very proud of his service in the Naval Armed Guard in the Pacific Theatre of World War II, and was an honorary lifetime member of the Historical Society. He loved traveling the world, working in his wood shop, and spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was always happy to take family and friends out to eat, especially if there was good dessert afterwards. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ellen; his brother, Elwood, and his sister, Ruth. He is survived by his children Deborah, Richard, Joanne, Nancy; seven grandchildren, and his brother, Richard.
