Yerks, Donald A., age 91 of Minneapolis. Passed away September 30, 2015. Preceded in death by wife Mavis; parents Arthur and Bertha; brother Marvin; and sister Helen. Survived by children Loren (Liz) Yerks, LuAnn Yerks (Michael Benz), Carol Yerks (Ted Bahns); grandchildren Brett, Jill, Dustin, Trista, Ian, Kelly, John, Anna; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Fern; brother Les; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial service Wednesday October 7 at 11:00am with visitation 1 hour prior at Nokomis Heights Lutheran Church, 5300 10th Ave So., Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to the church or the American Heart Association. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery.
