Obituary of Mary Louise Knudsen

Mary Knudsen Mary Louise Knudsen passed away October 1 at the age of 61. She will be missed dearly by her sisters and their husbands Andrea and Bill Ashe of New York, NY, and Kathryn and Ed Kerr of Harrison, MI; her nieces Elizabeth Kerr of Washington, DC, and Anna (Mike) Kerr Hotz of Minneapolis, MN; her cats Jimi and Sophie; and many loving friends. She was the daughter of Mary and Junius Knudsen and sister of Joan Knudsen, who preceded her in death. Mary loved her South Minneapolis neighborhood and her house, where everyone was welcome. She was a patron of the arts and enjoyed jazz, rock, and classical music, especially when her friends and family performed. She was an excellent cook, loved her friends, good food, travel, and wine, and taught anyone who wanted to learn how to make bread. A memorial service is planned for October 29.
