On the afternoon of October 5th, 2015, at age 72, Darrel Dean Rhodes passed away while in the company of family at St. Cloud Hospital. Darrel was born on July 25th, 1943. He was the 7th of 15 children born to Ann and Harvey Rhodes. Darrel is a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Germany and Southeast Asia. His great joys in life included hunting, fishing and playing cards. Darrel was preceded in death by his parents Ann and Harvey and siblings: Delores, Kenneth, Richard, Vernon, Louise, and Keith. Darrel is survived by siblings: Edward, Ardyth, Margaret, Roger, Norma, Lorraine, Russell, and Linda; former spouse, Marcia; children: Micheal, Robert, Darin and Deanna; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a brief graveside ceremony on Tuesday, October 13th, 10:15 a.m., Assembly area #4 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
