Obituary of Esther D. Davis

Esther died peacefully on October 6, 2015. Esther was born at home on April 11, 1930 in Blomkest, MN. She married Walter Davis on April 9, 1958. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved to play cards and games, travel and go out to eat. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, her father, John, mother, Ann, sisters, Elizabeth, Alice and Margaret, brothers, Clifford, and Art and grandsons, Mason and Marcus. She is survived by son, Lloyd (Nisa) Davis of Lake Elmo, Paula (Russell) Gundermann of Westbrook, Annelle (David) Rosendale of Mpls, grandchildren, Maya, Mitchell, Marshall, Scott, Nick, Ben, and Angela, great-grandchildren, Rachael, Austin, Tanner, Quentin, and Elise. Esther was a member of the Alanon Society for 49 years and faithfully supported her husband Walter. A special thank you and blessing to the staff and residents of Peterson Estates, Westbrook Hospital, Westbrook Good Samaritan Home and Murray County Hospice for the loving care they gave to Esther. Services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Evangelical Free Church, 1305 19th Ave SW, Willmar, MN at 1:00 pm, Memorial Service at 2:00 pm, followed by refreshments.
