Obituary of Christopher Lee Marier

Christopher Lee Marier (46). He left us much too soon, but he is welcomed with huge smiles and hugs from his dad and brother. Chris has taken a higher position in life. He will be watching over his family and friends and reminding us all to live life with the passion that he did. His hobbies were vast - from snorkeling in the Galapagos Islands, biking across Iowa, hunting and fishing, traveling across the world, broomball in the winter and softball in the summer. Chris was willing to try anything and all of these things he did were done with his family and friends, because that's what he truly loved- being around people. While attending college at St. Cloud State, he began his career in healthcare supply chain management. In 1993 Chris received his BAS degree in Aviation/Airway Management & Operations. He continued to flourish in his career and his education. He earned his MBA from Regis University in 2007 with Graduate Honors and a 4.0 GPA. He spent his entire career in healthcare supply chain management working with prominent healthcare providers such as the Mayo Clinic. He was preceded in passing by his dad Wayne, his brother Rick (Julie), and is survived by his mother Trisha, his brothers Joe (Mary Beth), Patrick (Jessica), his niece Jenny and his nephews Johnny, Ricky, Nash and Mace. We will celebrate Chris's life, share stories and remember him on Tuesday, October 13th. The visitation will be at 2 p.m. with the service immediately following at 3 p.m. at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul, MN 55119.
