Obituary of Ardis E Talbot

Ardis E. Talbot, 84, of Duluth, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Essentia Health. Ardis was born in Duluth on July 19, 1931 to John and Elvira (Morell) Jessick. She worked for many area businesses including Kelly Howe Thompson, PK Priest, Pittsburg Paints, Clearflax Plant, Arrowhead Creamery, Franklin Creamery and NBC Bank. She also served as the secretary for the BMWE Locals 1710 and 1711. Ardis enjoyed cooking at home, working with crafts and taking long walks. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald and sister Frances. Ardis is survived by her husband J.R. “Ron”; sons, Kevin (Linda) of Cloquet and Thomas of Duluth; 4 grandchildren, Jamie, Trista, Molly and Hannah; great-grandchild Azaria; sister Arlene Christopherson of Brainerd and many extended family members and friends. The family thanks the staff at Essentia Health for all of the care they provided Ardis. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9 am until the 10 am memorial service on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN.
