Obituary of Robert A. Smith

Robert Arthur Smith. Age 70, of Vadnais Heights and Long-time resident of Roseville, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on their 50th wedding anniversary. Preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Donna; daughter, Roxanne. Survived by wife, Sharon; sons, Wesley (Julie Nacario) and Aaron (Renee); grandchildren, Jesse, Dylan, Breleigh, Blaise, and Cody Smith, Justin Smith Buzay; former daughter-in-law, Kim; best friends, John (Eileen) Ditty and Judy (Clyde) Smith; many relatives and friends. Bob was a long-term employee as both the warehouse manager for Montgomery Ward and supervisor at NCR Comten. He was an avid Minnesota sports fan. He coached recreational sports and was very involved with the Midway Speed Skating Club. Honey (Dad), we love you. We will miss you until we meet again. A Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, 10/24 at 5 PM with visitation at 4 PM, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, St. Paul Chapel, 1979 Old Hudson Road, 651-789-0404. Memorials Preferred.
