Obituary of James J Kinney

James J Kinney, age 88, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by partner, Dianna Sorenson; brother, William and Sister, Dorothy Floyd. Survived by daughters: Jackie (Paul) Preusse, Janis Simpson and Kathleen Kinney; sons, Scott (Colleen) and David; grandchildren: Aaron (Lily) Preusse, Derek, Caitlin, Nicole and Andrew; great-grandchild, Ruby Preusse; brother, Jack (Patricia); nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 7045 Lyndale Ave. S., Richfield. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Special Thanks to the Fairview Hospice team and N.C. Little Memorial Hospice for their love and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to N.C. Little, Fairview Hospice or charity of donor’s choice.
