Obituary of Charles Tyler

Charles (Chuck) Tyler - Champlin, Minnesota passed away on May 7, 2018, in Champlin, Minnesota at the age of 60. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Vicki Tyler, Rachel Tyler (daughter), grandchildren (Brynlee and Everett), siblings David Tyler (Connie) and Vicky Larson (Wayne), and many, many relatives and good friends. Chuck was born on July 23, 1957 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Charles Everett Tyler and Audrey Jean Tyler (Hulbert) and graduated from Altoona High School. Chuck married Vicki Lynn Glenna on March 14, 1977. Chuck worked with AE Conrad and Zeman Construction. He served his community as a long-time member of the Champlin Jaycees and as a volunteer firefighter for 21 years with the Anoka-Champlin Fire Department. A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, May 12 at The Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, 55445. Visitation begins at 5pm with the service starting at 6 pm. Pastor Tom Holmes will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Chuck’s life. In lieu of flowers, friends may choose to donate to the Anoka-Champlin Fire Department, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Kids Unite To Fight Against Cancer. Condolences can be posted at the Facebook page, “Kiss My PancreASS For Chuck Tyler.” The family would like to thank Dr. Nisha Jacobs, Dr. Lynch and the chemotherapy nurses from Minnesota Oncologists, Allina Home & Health Services, and hospice care. Vicki would like to thank all family and friends who have been supportive and helpful during these difficult times. All are appreciated, and none are taken for granted. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 (NIV)
