Obituary of Paul M Breemeersch

Paul M. Breemeersch, 48, of Superior, WI passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2018. Paul grew up in Proctor, MN. He attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School and graduated from Proctor High School in 1988. He furthered his education at the University of Illinois Police Training Institute in 1992. He also completed PTI Firearms Qualification course with qualifications in Marksman and Technical Neutralization Techniques. Paul enjoyed basketball, baseball, golf, foosball and football. Along with that he found enjoyment in vacationing, gardening and spending time with his granddaughters. Paul looked forward to weekly Friday night gatherings with his friends and family. He was an avid music enthusiast, especially Sammy Hagar. Paul was one of the most kind, caring, and friendly men. He was loved by all. Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle; children Adam (Korey) Ross, Nicole (Brett) Uchanski, Zachary (Emily) Breemeersch, and Benjamin Breemeersch; granddaughters Rylee and Emersyn; his mother Jean Breemeersch and his father Maurice (Myrna) Breemeersch Jr.; Father-in-law Randy (Luanne) Winter; twin sister Heather (Rick) Stanius, brother Derek (Cathy) Breemeersch, sister Stephanie (Chad) Mulford; best friend and brother-in-law Robert (Kathleen) Schlichting; sister in law Angelique Blaisdell;special friends Angela Orlandi and Carrie Mattson; nieces and nephews, Alyssa and Tate Schlichting, Taylor and Tyler Stanius, Austin and Katrina Breemeersch and Bree, Carrie, Tristen and Avalon Mulford; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul is preceeded in death by his grandparents, Maurice Sr. and Margaret Breemeersch and Odin and Alice Thorsvik; mother-in-law Gale Winter. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 12th at 10 am at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, with a visitation beginning at 9 am.
