Obituary of Andrew D. Halverson

Halverson, Andrew "Andy" David age 70, of Minneapolis, passed on November 6, 2015. He was preceded in death by father, Andrew; mother, Mary; sister, Eugenia and brother Warren. Andy was a graduate of South High and earned a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He was a proud Vietnam veteran of Bravo 2/8 4th Infantry Division. He retired from the Minnesota DOT after 36 years of service. Andy was a kind and gentle soul and is survived by numerous family members, friends and neighbors, whom he loved dearly. A military honor ceremony will be held on November 27 at 1:35 p.m. at Fort Snelling, Minneapolis. A memorial gathering will follow from 3-6 p.m. at The Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave. Minneapolis.
