Obituary of Jean T. Young

Young, Jean T. age 88, of Apple Valley, died peacefully on November 7, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sau Kong and is survived by sons, Mike (Tammy) and Jack; and grandchilren, Rachel and Jacob. Born in Hawaii, Jean left for college in Illinois where she eventually settled and spent over 20 years as an elementary education teacher. After retiring, Jean moved to Minnesota to be near two of the greatest loves of her life, her grandchildren, with whom she remained close until her passing. Jean will join her husband, a veteran, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.
