Obituary of George Ritter

George Ritter Jr. passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Hopkins, MN. He had struggled with complications related to diabetes for many years. George was born to Gay and George Ritter Sr., in Minneapolis on September 14, 1953. He worked in a number of fields over the years including electronics repair, building hearing aids, and bartending, but his passion was always music. He was a member of numerous bands over the years beginning in high school, extending to the early 90's in northern California. He leaves behind two sons, Brandon and James; sisters Suzy Woolcott, Lauren Strouse, Kathryn Roman and Christina Smith; brother, Jim Stenglein; and step son Scott Roman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
