Obituary of Gail Chavez

Gail Chavez passed away peacefully Nov. 9, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Gail was born May 11, 1951 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is survived by sister Pam (Andre), brother Gary (Pam), children Andrea (Adam), Derrick (Sam), step-children Tery (Bob), Diana (Ted), David (Jean), Michelle (Don), Anita, Joe Jr., Jeanne, grandchildren Matthew, Victoria, Evelyn, Sawyer, Logan, and many step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren and family and friends. Preceded in death by parents Alfred and Agnes, niece Shannon Vien and grandson Gabriel Chavez. A Memorial Service will be held 11AM, Saturday, November 21 at St. Rita's Church, 8694 80th St. S. Cottage Grove, MN with a visitation 1 hour prior. Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to The Colon Cancer Coalition, or Health East Cancer Center of St. John's Hospital.
