Obituary of Cheryll Lee Nelson

Nelson, Cheryll Lee Age 73, Minneapolis, died on November 10 after a long battle with many medical challenges. Cheryll is survived by her son, Burl Gilyard (Nicole Cina), nephews Kurt Jorgensen (Deb Sanchez) and Brad Jorgensen (Lisa Dalton), and a wide circle of friends. Cheryll loved good books, independent movies, visual art, live theater, and Christos Greek Restaurant. She was preceded in death by her son (Bret Gilyard) and sister (Lynn Jorgensen). A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave., Minneapolis. Gathering begins at 3 p.m.; reception to follow. Memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
