Obituary of Verna Wanda Oswald

OSWALD (Adkins), Verna Wanda, longtime resident of New Hope, recently of Plymouth, passed away Nov. 11th, 2015 at the age of 74. Preceded in death by her parents, Vern &Wanda Adkins. She was the wife of Ronald Oswald for 55 years; cherished mother of Roxanne Oswald, Michael (Mardi) Oswald, Steven (Lynn) Oswald. She was the adored grandmother to Carrie Hackney (Adam), Aaron Boike, Isaac Boike, Taylor Oswald, Nicholas Oswald and Great Grandmother to Madalynn and Hanna Hackney. Also survived by three sisters, Sharon (Jerry) Bofferding, Shirley (Peter) Laidlaw, Donna (Thomas) Collins; brothers, Vern “Skip” (Melinda) Adkins, Bruce “Shorty” (Linda) Adkins, 5 nieces, 3 nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. Memorial Service 11am Monday, Nov. 16th at Grace Lutheran Church, 6810 Winnetka Avenue N., Brooklyn Park with visitation at church 1 hour before service. If so desired, memorials preferred to Grace Lutheran Thanksgiving Food Drive.
