Obituary of Ane M. Lund

Lund, Ane M. (Andersen) A resident of Richfield for 60 years, passed away at home November 11, with her children by her side. Born in Mpls in 1934, graduated from Roosevelt H.S. and was a lifelong learner in/out of the classroom. Had a passion for reading, and shared this in her work at Henn. County Library for 30+ yrs. She loved to travel, with northern MN a favorite destination for over 50 yrs. There she spent time with her family fishing, reading, water-skiing, playing cards, laughing and making memories. Was proud of her Danish heritage (Tak!) and enjoyed celebrating it with her "Dane" friends in the St. Peder's Church community. Mom was active in golf & bowling leagues, tennis & swimming, and avidly supported her kids by attending their countless activities. She maintained lifelong friendships, including her h.s club, Sedecüm Gams, was steeped in tradition and held family closest to her heart. To know her was to love her (insert heart).
