Obituary of Mark A Ceryance

Mark A. Ceryance, 62, of Duluth, passed away peacefully November 13, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born December 5, 1952 in Virginia, MN to Frank and Grace (Gingerelli) Ceryance. Mark graduated from Eveleth Senior High School in 1970 and earned a bachelor’s degree from UMD. Mark owned his own insurance agency with American Family Insurance for 30 years, previous to that he was with MSI Insurance. Mark had a good heart and was a very devoted family man, providing for his family who always came first. Everyone will remember his quick wit and sense of humor. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and gathering around the fire with friends and family. Mark looked forward to annual camping trips and vacations with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frank Barry Ceryance and sister, Joan (Ceryance) Cornell. Mark is survived by his wife of 43 years, Shelley; daughters, Amy (Aaron) Winkelman of Hermantown, April (Mario) Powe of Duluth and Ashley Ceryance of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Mario Jr., Giovanni, Rashon and Eyan; sisters, Sharon DeLeo, Barb (Larry) Groves. The family would like to express their gratitude to the ICU and Hospice Unit of St. Luke’s Hospital for their care and comfort.
