Obituary of Claudius W. Wilken

A life joyfully lived ended peacefully in God's presence on November 13, 2015. Claud was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Dolores, and is survived by his children: Claudia Wilken (John True), James Wilken (Jane), Kathleen Wilken (Steve Simon), and Richard Wilken (Debra). Loving grandpa of Peter and Sarah, Dave, Dan and Matt, Joel, Jacob and Josh, and great-granddaughter, Kylie. Claud was born and raised in Brandon, Minnesota. After serving in World War II, he graduated from the University of Minnesota and worked for over thirty years as an educator for the St. Paul Schools. Claud lived a full life of service to his family, friends, church and community. A celebration of Claud's life will be held on November 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (515 S. Albert Street, St. Paul.) Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at Holy Spirit Church. Memorials preferred to Holy Spirit School. -
