Obituary of John M. Spain II
Born April 6, 1975. Died November 16, 2015 in Minneapolis, MN. John II was a gifted, talented and awarding winning photographer and cinematographer. A graduate of Christ School in Asheville, North Carolina and the Savannah College of Arts and Design, John co-founded several successful video production companies. He also managed a television production department where he produced award winning commercials and full-length feature programming. In Minneapolis he was the Managing Director of a law firm and headed their marketing and television productions. John lived life to the fullest. A lover of art, music, traveling, and cooking, John was happiest surrounded by family and close friends. He brought light and laughter into every place he entered. He loved the outdoors and took every opportunity to hunt or ski. He enjoyed being on False River, his grandparents' farm in Shreveport, and any place he could hike in the woods. John adored his family and friends, and never missed an opportunity to share his infectious smile, tight hugs and caring words with everyone he knew. He loved to love people. He is survived by his Mother and Father, Linda and John Spain of New Roads, a sister, Amanda Spain Wells of Baton Rouge, two nieces and one nephew, and countless others whose lives he has forever changed.
