Obituary of Leroy T. Hoops

Leroy T. (Lefty) Hoops Age 87, of Woodbury, formerly of Golden Valley, passed away Nov. 23, 2015 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Born and raised in St. Louis Park, served proudly in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. Retired as Vice President and Superintendent of Blanchard Enterprises. Preceded in death by parents Albert and Caroline Hoops, brothers Albert (Bud) and Floyd, sister AnnaBelle Moore and granddaughter Katherine Hoops. Survived by wife Barbara, daughter Kathleen Vickstrom, sons Thomas, William, and Tony, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and brother George. Memorial service to be held Wed., Dec. 2 at 11:00 at Edina Cremation Society, visitation one hour prior. Burial at Fort Snelling on Thurs., Dec. 3.
