Obituary of Robert Michael Hagemeyer

Robert “Bob” Hagemeyer, age 52, passed away on 11/24/2015 after a valiant 7-month battle with lung cancer. Bob grew up in Columbia Heights, MN and later lived in Denver, CO, Maple Grove, MN, and Jordan, MN. Bob was an adventurous spirit who never knew what he wanted to do when he “grew up”. He spent his free time fishing, golfing, bowling, playing slots, and spending time with friends and family. A loving father and friend, Bob’s charisma brightened the lives of everyone he met. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Jeanette and his sister Sandy. He is survived by his daughter Erin and son Josh, girlfriend Connie Church, ex-wife Connie Hagemeyer, brother Bud Hagemeyer, and sisters Judy Conley, Ginny (George) Date, Mary (Ed) Matera, Meg (Denny) Shields, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews and many close friends. A celebration of Bob’s life will take place at on Friday, December 4th from 4pm to 9pm at Tasty Pizza (875 45th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN) where he worked as a teenager and to which he returned often throughout adulthood.
