Obituary of Rowena Pope

Age 86, of Circle Pines, passed away on November 28, 2015. Preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Calvin Pope. Rowena and Cal are survived by their children: Margo (Patrick Mergens), Marilyn (Robert Elsenpeter), Gloria Hansen (John Gannon), Pamela Reynolds, Paula Kringle, Barbara (Steve Geiger) and Jeffrey Pope (Debora). Also survived by her brother Robert May (Sherry) of Kirksville, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. Service will be held Saturday, December 12, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1 North Rd., Circle Pines, MN. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Mark Lutheran Church, or the donor’s choice.
