Obituary of Sylvia Erickson

Sally Erickson, age 89, of Minnetonka passed away November 29, 2015. Former Executive Director of Big Sisters of Minneapolis. Preceded in death by husband Richard Erickson, parents Sam and Julia Eng, and brother-in-law Lyle Fenne. Survived by sister, Grace Fenne of Kenyon; brothers-and sisters-in-law Robert and Marilyn Olson of Florida, and Barbara and Bruce Swanson of Florida and Forest Lake MN.; niece Karen (Jeff) Spector and great niece Lauren Spector of Florida, and many dear friends. 1944 graduate of South High School and 1948 graduate of St. Olaf College. First youth director of Como Park Lutheran Church, St. Paul. Loyal supporter of St. Olaf College, Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, and Quota International of Minneapolis.. Memorial service is Thursday, December 17, at 11 a..m. at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 4101 37th Ave. S., Minneapolis with visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to charity of donor's choice.
