Obituary of Shirley M Ross

Ross, Shirley M. (Becker) age 79, of Champlin MN, passed away with her family by her side on December 7, 2015. She was born in Watkins, MN and was a long time resident of Brooklyn Park. She enjoyed spending her summers at their place on the Mississippi River. She was an avid reader and history buff who loved watching any sport on TV. She knew more about sports than most sportscasters and had a quick wit and an amazing sense of humor. She also wasn't afraid to share her thoughts on any subject. She is survived by loving husband of 55 years, Donald K. Ross, children Jeff Ross and his wife Rita, Julie Teske and her husband Joe, Jackie Richman and her husband Ron and Jill Kaliher and her husband Kevin. Grand children, Jason Richman and his wife Jaime, Travis Teske, Justin Ross and his wife Erica, Chris Richman and his fiancé Ashley Larson, Jessica Kaliher and Andrew Kaliher. Great granddaughter Evelyn Richman aka Sweet Pea. She will be dearly missed by many friends and family, especially her bonus family, the Webster's. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Esther Becker, siblings Elvin Becker, Evelyn Reber, Floyd Becker, Eleanor Weisen, and Gene Becker. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of Mercy Hospital and J. A. Wedum Residential Hospice for the excellent care they gave her. A celebration of her life will be held at the Bunker Hills Activity Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd., Andover, MN 55304. Memorial Service December 11, 2015, at 11:00 am, casual attire and memorials preferred.
