Obituary of Nancy E Geving

Nancy E. Geving, 67, a longtime resident of Duluth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Friday, Dec. 11, 2015. Nancy was born May 13, 1948, in Two Harbors, to Algot and Eleanor Bergquist. She was a 1966 graduate of Two Harbors High School and attended Duluth Business University. On July 15, 1967, she married Earl R. Geving. Nancy worked as a secretary for the Duluth Public School District for over 30 years, retiring in 2010. In her free time she enjoyed making quilts for her family and friends, traveling, cruising and spending time with her granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Earl; children Jodi (Thomas) Furman of Duluth and Eric (Stephanie) of North Branch, Minn.; granddaughters Abigail, Emily, Isabelle, Anne and Ashley; sister Ruth (Ron) Bigelow of Two Harbors; and many other relatives and friends.
