Obituary of Lois E. Ivanovich

Lois E. Ivanovich age 90, of Duluth passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born October 14, 1927 in Duluth to John and Ruth Carlson. Lois graduated from Proctor High School and worked at the U.S.S. Plant and Avionics. She enjoyed playing cards, crafts and making beautiful beaded Christmas ornaments. Lois always had a beautiful smile for everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Ivanovich; son, Bruce; parents; brother, George Carlson and sisters, Dorothy Elliott and Marjorie Starasinich; sisters-in-law, Gretchen Carlson, Frances Thoreson and Julia DeNiro; brother-in-law, Edward Starasinich. Lois is survived by her son, (Larry (Jeanne) Ivanovich; Daughter-in-law, Mary Ivanovich; grandchildren, Scott Ivanovich, Shelley (Mark Besser) Ivanovich, Brian (Janet) Ivanovich and Nicole Ivanovich; sister-in-law, Aggie Galleberg; many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to River Hill Assisted Living for all their help and the St. Luke's Hospice Staff. Gathering of family and friends from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, May 23rd at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9503 Grand Ave. Interment will be at Oneota Cemetery.
