Obituary of Jack Docter

Jack Docter, age 92, died at New Perspective Senior Living in Superior, WI, on Friday, May 18, 2018. He grew up as a loyal Packer fan in Green Bay, WI. Upon graduating from high school in 1943, he enlisted in the US Navy where he spent three years and earned the rank of Lieutenant in the Naval Air Corps. Following his Navy career, Jack completed his college education at the University of WI, Madison, where he met and later married Ginnie O'Brien of Superior, WI. They eventually settled in Duluth, MN, where Jack worked and played tirelessly as a husband and father, a businessman, a sports enthusiast, and a Park Point devotee. Survivors include his wife Ginnie of 66 years, as well as their six children and their spouses, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Honoring Jack's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
