Obituary of Virginia Mae Musech

Virginia Mae Musech, age 77, of Mound, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Irene Karpinen. She was an artist at heart, with a creative spirit. She felt blessed to watch four grandchildren grow into adulthood, and welcome a new great-grand-child after raising four daughters. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Survived by daughters, Terri (Ken) Kurita, Shelli, Kay (Tim) Brandow and Cindy (Mike) LeJeune; grandchildren, Andrew (Kerianne), Charles (Sarah), Lucas, Annalise LeJeune; great-grandchild Lucie-Marie; sisters, Judy (Les) Johnson, Vicki Karpinen, Sandy (Paul) Thomsen, LuAnn (Russ) Goldstein, Marsha Karpinen; brother, Lauri Karpinen, many nieces, nephews, & other relatives and friends. Private family memorial service Friday, 4:30 pm. Memorials preferred to the Minnetonka Center for the Arts or the Grand Marais Art Colony.
