Daniel P. "Chappy" Chapman, 66, of South Range, Wis., passed away Jan 3, 2016 at Middle River Health and Rehab surrounded by his family.
Dan was born April 26, 1949 in Duluth to the late Reginald and Elaine Chapman.
He was a longtime employee of the DM&IR Railroad. In his free time he enjoyed restoring old cars and attending the stock car races. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include one sister Priscilla (Ron) Fisher; three sons Jason (Amy) Nutter, Travis (Kasey) Chapman, Derek (Jamie) Chapman; five grandchildren Brody, Connor, Austin, Derek and Leah; three step-grandchildren Stephanie, Tiphanie and Andrew; one step-great granddaughter Teyah and many nieces and nephews.
GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday Jan. 16, 2016 in the Cremation Society of MN 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth.
