Obituary of Lawrence V. Peterson

Lawrence V. Peterson, Sr., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 at Essentia Health. Lawrence was born in Duluth, on April 4, 1933 to Victor and Ruth (Thompson) Peterson. He is preceded in death by his wife Christine; daughter Vicki Peterson and son Wes Peterson; brothers, Thomas Peterson, Daniel Maki and Peter Swanson. Lawrence is survived by sons Tim (Roxanne) and Pete (Diana); daughter-in-law Nancy Tuominen; five grandchildren, Tim Jr., Kirk, Kacey, Paula and Randy; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Herman (LaVonne) Engman; as well as many extended family members and friends. GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 in Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth.
