Obituary of Richard A. Christianson

Richard A. Christianson Age 85, of Richfield, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2016. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by many. Retired from Northern States Power Co. Long-time Hillcrest UMC member and Loaves and Fishes volunteer. Enjoyed laughter, family time, road trips, cooking and home improvement projects. Richard was a dedicated family man with a great sense of humor who left us with many wonderful stories to remember and share. Preceded in death by sweet daughter, Dawn; cherished grandson, Ryan. Survived by wife of 65 years, Jean; daughters, Sandi (Bob) Eddy and Lynn Williams; granddaughter, Katie (Charlie) Kotasek; brother, Ron (Anita) Christianson; nieces, nephews and their families; other loving relatives and many wonderful friends. Celebration of life Sat., January 16 at Hillcrest UMC, 9100 Russell Ave. S., Bloomington, visitation 10 AM, service 11 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery May 9, 2016.
